How to bypass those Arise fees

0
0

As you know, joining the Arise network as an independent contractor requires for you to pay for your own training. The fees usually are: 1. Background check ($12.95) 2. CSP 101 ($99.00) 3. Client Training ($19-199).  Because of these fees, some may wonder if this is a legitimate work from home job or not or is it a scam.  This is definitely a legitimate work from home opportunity but many people can not afford to incorporate themselves as an IBO or independent business owner to partner with Arise.  Is there anything you can do to get around this?  Yes there is.  I will explain how this works.

Lewis Virtual Services is a company that you can go through to help you avoid paying those extensive fees leaving you responsible for paying for the background check alone, which is a little under $13.  They are currently recruiting agents to work from home for Intuit.  Intuit does hires tax advisors and tax specialists to work from home to provide tax advice to users of their Turbo Tax software.  Right now, you can go through Lewis Virtual Services and apply to work for Intuit.  You are not required to have any tax experience to get started.

If you are currently looking for a work at home job or in need of extra income, please watch this latest video to find out exactly what you need to do to bypass those fees when you apply online.
Make sure that you follow all the instructions so that you will only have to pay for your background check fee.

Pros and Cons of being a Home based Mom

0
0

Ask just ten women with small children if they'd like to quit their job for a chance to work from home. Most likely, all of them would jump at the chance to be work-from-home mommies. Just the thought of being able to bring in a check but still be able to spend all day with the children sounds like the dream we all want. However, as with most great ideas, there are pros and cons to consider before rushing into anything. Here are some important things to keep in mind....

Kids at Home
• Pro – When you work at home, your kids are always there with you.
• Con – Again, your children are always with you. As someone described parenthood; it’s like being pecked by chickens. Just imagine being pecked on non-stop and having no way to escape! Some people can take it, others can't. It doesn't mean that you're a bad parents or that your kids are less tolerable, it's just life!

Income From Home:
• Pro – This is obvious - You're making money to stay home, without spending money or time on a commute or gas. A modest income is nicer than none.
• Con –  Since employers know how sweet a work-from-home deal is, some work from home jobs won’t pay well as an office job, and are a lot more competitive.

Daycare and Benefits:
• Pro – You won’t ever have to pay for child care.
• Con – You also most likely won’t have health care coverage offered through an employer. This is truer if you are running a small business or self-employed. The only way to have insurance would be to buy a private policy or be covered by a spouse. With the Affordable Care Act as law, you can now rest assured that you will have quality protection, but the benefits will stop there, and you'll probably pay more than if it was an employer-sponsored program.

Flex Hours –
• Pro – Working at home, you can set your own hours and be flexible about being off work when you need to be off.
• Con – Some work at home jobs require your availability night and day. The flexibility can almost be too much for many. It’s hard to have a routine and schedules when you have no specific schedule, and if you're a procrastinator or your children have a hectic schedule, it might not be the heaven you imagine.

Family Time –
• Pro - When you work from home, you find all the time you need for your family and yourself.
• Con – Sometimes, you wonder where your “me” time went. A common problem that occurs with work at home moms is that between working and taking care of their children, they find no time left for themselves.

Office Space –
• Pro – When you work from home, you aren’t stuck in a tiny prison-like cubicle.
• Con – You also have no escape when you work at home. When you work from home, you're stuck at home. This means you have no typical getting ready for work routine, dropping the children off at the daycare or sitter and having the peaceful ride home from work to see the family. Everything you do, use and think happens right at home. You can’t make the great escape from home to work and vice versa. For some, it's similar to a prison, but you have pretty curtains and windows. If you like the hustle and bustle of working downtown in your city, you'd have to kiss that goodbye.

Long Term -
• Pro – If you definitely want a career at home or you're not as career-focused, then landing a work-from-home now can be a huge boon to your resume.
• Con – If you hope to return to the traditional workforce someday, then you have to remember the cold hard truth - some potential employers may look down someone who has spent a lot of time out of an office. This isn't justified or defensible, but it's the truth - some employers may wonder if you're really serious about a career, or if you'll jump back into the next work-from-home opportunity that comes your way so that you can spend time with your kids.

Overall, there are valid pros and cons when it comes to working from home. Like with all career decisions, make sure this is an agreeable family one. Consider all your options before making the decision to work from home, and if you go for it, make the most of it, and have a blast with your family!

How to Overcome Home Based Business Challenges

0
0

Establishing your own home-based business is a mark of success both personally and career-wise. However, there are many challenges just to get the business up and running, and yet more challenges lie ahead. If you're lucky, one of your biggest challenges will be an unexpected growth of customers who demand your services, once they discover you're talented and deliver a quality product or service! But, not everyone's so lucky, and the challenges we meet can be much more vexing. Addressing these obstacles requires an array of personal and professional characteristics. Taking inventory of what you have in your management toolkit will help you meet these challenges with your head held high, and exceed your own expectations!

Plan Your Life
Being home-based requires you to be more careful about your daily planner than someone who working for a more traditional company. The reason is simple. Clients have expectations of you 24/7, and leaving your job to come home for the day is not an option. Many without their own business don't understand that it's more demanding on your personal schedule than a job that ends at 5:00.

Growth Protection
This is more about having someone available to help you part-time should your business grow too fast in too short a period of time. It's always part of the business plan to have controlled growth, but sometimes, good things happen. So don’t let a good thing become a problem. Make connections with quality people who can do quality work on short notice. When needed, they can be hired in a pinch. Just make sure the pay rates and work requirements are understood before putting them on your short list of available help.

Personal Emergencies
Everyone will encounter some type of personal emergency if they're operating a home-based business for any length of time. This can put clients, and revenues, on hold or possibly result in their loss. There are several ways to meet this challenge, the first being hiring that person waiting in the wings to come on board. A second option is to have a trusted friend who can deal with the situation for you, such as in the case of a sick child. A third option is to inform clients upfront that in the case of a personal emergency, projects can be temporarily delayed when given the appropriate notice. Sometimes this works, and sometimes it doesn't.

Sleep Deprivation
Sometimes, a home-based business will wreak havoc with your sleeping schedule – if you're able to have one at all. The demands of clients can get downright frustrating, but as a home-based business you provide both the product and service and the customer support. There are personal emergencies and there are business emergencies. The best way to meet the sleep challenge is to be flexible enough to make trade-offs. Accept the fact that there will be days you have to exchange sleep for profit. Then, when the opportunity presents itself, make time to get some earned, undisturbed extra sleep. That's why there's voice mail, after all!

The number of challenges for anyone running their a home-based business is as varied as the qualities of the people who operate them. In most cases, it';s a matter of the person’s willingness to plan, sacrifice, and sometimes endure, for the end result of having the advantages of working from home. Meeting challenges often requires swapping one thing for another, and they can be successfully met with the right approach.

Work at Home Data Entry Updates

0
0

It is getting close to the time when Great American Opportunities will allow you to request for testing to be a home based operator and type in data for them from home.  This is also a great time for you to apply for Virtualbee as a data entry keyer because they are entering their peak season.  But what if you can't pass the test for Virtualbee to get offered a work at home data entry position or you are not really sure who to contact to request to take the test for Great American Opportunities.  I have some solutions to those problems that I will share with you in this post.

Great American American Opportunities contracts HBO to work from home entering gift orders and magazine subscriptions since 2004 right from their computer.  They allow interested ones to request to take testing two times a year in July and January.  You don't need to complete training or have an interview to work for this company but you will need to pass the test.  In order to do this, you must request to take it.  The person that you will need to contact is Terry OHair at TOHair@gafundraising.com and include your complete name, mailing address and phone number.  If you omit any of this information, they will not be able to schedule you for testing.  Please keep in mind there is a waiting list which is around 2 years long (assuming you pass the test) but this is truly a work at home data entry job worth the wait because it pays a lot more than the other legitimate data entry companies.  You will need to contact Terry around or close to Jan.1 2014.  The sooner the better because there will be many interested people contacting him near or around this time.  Here are some additional requirements you will need in order to work for this company.

  • High speed Internet
  • Windows XP or higher
  • DSL or Cable Modem

Virtualbee is another company that has an ongoing need for data entry keyers to work from home.  Just like Great American Opportunities there is no training involved or interview required in order for you to work for them.  You just need to pass the test.  That is a barrier for some because they are not exactly sure what the test will involve or their score has not been satisfactory.  I recently made a video on how to score 100% on the evaluation test for Virtualbee that will show you exactly what the snippets look like, how long the test will take, how you can pass the test and get invited to work for them.  Please watch the embedded video here and apply as soon as you can.

13 Ideas for Making $25 a day

0
0

Trying to earn an extra $25 a day doesn't seem like a lot but if you were to earn this amount every single day it would equal out to be $175 a week, $350 every two weeks or $700 a month.  That doesn't sound too bad when you look at it that way.  Who couldn't use an extra $700 a month?  I know it can be somewhat of a "Rat Race" trying to find legitimate work at home jobs.  It can be even more challenging trying to land one.  If you are already working from home, you may still be on the lookout for some other gigs, assignments and tasks that you can do and if so,  I have a few options that may help you to reach this goal of earning an extra $25.  Feel free to utilize and take advantage of as many opportunities as you have time for.  Here are some that I came up with in no particular order below.

Tip: Sign up with as many companies as you can and try to do those that you either like, have experience with or will not take up too much of your time.  You will also want to take into consideration any fees a company may be allotted for using their service.  A good example of this would be Fiverr.  A gig may sell for $5 but they will take a percentage of that amount.  You can always do add-ons to make up the difference.

  • Be a website tester for companies like Usertesting, YouEye, Whatusersdo, Trymyui, and others.  Pays around $10 or $12 and only takes about 15 minutes of your time.  The mobile testing portion for Usertesting pays $15.
  • Submit your poetry, puzzle ideas, games, activities, and poetry that is age appropriate for kids 6-12 to Jack and Jill magazine.  Pays $25 up to $40 for each activity or submission.
  • Be a video blogger for Express Tribune.
  • Take a high paying survey from companies like 20/20 Research, True Panel, Nichols Research, Research Worx, and others.
  • Signing up to be an expert on Just Answer and getting paid to answer questions from various people online.  They do require you to have a license or be certified and have some experience.
  • Refer your friends to Paid Viewpoint and earn up to $25 per referral.
  • Sign up for Uber and download their app to earn around $15 per hour or more driving your car around your local area picking up riders.  Pays every week via Paypal.  Company will provide you with iPhone.  Must be at least 23, own a car that is 2003 or newer with 4 doors, have valid driver's license, registration and insurance.  Available in 50 cities around the globe including Europe, Africa, Asia and elsewhere.
  • Complete online focus groups and games testing projects for Panelpolls to earn $35 up to $75.
  • Get rid of your used books to Cash 4 Books for extra money.
  • Promote other people's products and other stuff on MyLikes.  Will need to be on social media.
  • Sell your old DVDs, music, and other items on Ebay or Amazon.
  • Publish your own books and sell on Amazon using Createspace, a free full fledged company that will help authors to get their content published for free!
  • Start your own blog or website and monetize it with advertisements, sponsored posts, affiliate companies, and more.

Are you planning on visiting some museums, ski resorts, aquariums, fun centers, bowling alleys, theme parks, go roller skating or other amusements in the near future?  Before you purchase your tickets, you may want to check out a site called Amusement Advantage.  This is a legitimate mystery shopping company that has been in business for about 15 years or so that is always looking for mystery shoppers to visit various amusements and get paid to share their experience.  Most shops pay an average of $50 per shop and goes up from there. You will also get an additional cash bonus for completing your report online early.

Start a Blog for Extra Money

Are you steadily looking for a work at home job and end up finding nothing suitable that you can apply to online?  Did you miss out on the last work at home opportunity?  Are you starting to wonder if working from home is really meant for you?  If you find yourself nodding your head to some of the questions that were asked this may be the perfect time to consider starting your own blog or website.  Instead of waiting for a company to hire you, you could start your own business with your very own blog or website and not have to work for anyone.  If you think that blogging is not cut out for you or it is too much work, you may change your mind after you read this post.

First, what is a blog?  A blog is simply a series of online posts that are chronicled and arranged by date.  Anybody can start a blog on virtually any topic.  Pick a subject that is dear to your heart or one that you have some expertise or experience in.  Come up with a name for your blog and a title that will stand out. Here are some ideas for a blog.

  • Mommy/parenting blog where you share ideas and advice about taking care of a newborn, raising children, fun activities, toys and anything else you can think of.
  • Review blog.  Start a blog on the latest or upcoming movies, TV shows, department stores, new products or appliances, As seen on TV items, perfume, books, electronics, etc. and what you thought about them.
  • Celebrity/Gossip Blog.  Chat about your favorite celebrities, what they are wearing, those on the rise or downfall, whose in trouble, who's dating who and so forth.
  • Recipe blog.  Post your favorite recipes including deserts, appetizers, one pan dishes, soups, crockpot recipes, and meals on a budget on your blog.  Take photos or make a video of how you prepare the meal to give your readers a visual.
  • Online Store.  Sell your own handmade items, crafts, designs, jewelry and so forth as an online store where visitors can view and purchase your products with the click of a mouse.  Tip:  Offer free shipping, include a free gift, or a money back guarantee to generate more sales.
  • Make up blog.  Share your favorite make up tips and tutorials on your blog.  Give step by step tips in written format as well as in a video or in the form of photos so they can see and achieve the desire look.
  • Decorating Blog.  If you have a talent for decorating, start a blog about this and show some before and after pictures of a room you have designed or made over, how you updated some antique furniture, how you decorate your kitchen table for entertaining and everything else in between.
  • Bargain/Coupon Blog.  Everybody is always looking for a bargain.  If you are good at finding deals, coupons, discounts and even freebies, share where you found them on your blog.
  • Social Media.  Do you know any secrets or tips to help people get more followers on Twitter or can you teach someone how to effectively use social media to market themselves or their company or brand?  Start a blog about this topic and the latest tools that they can utilize to understand how social media works.
  • Techie Blog.  If you are good at fixing computer errors and applications on the computer, you can start a blog about all the technical aspects of computers and computer software programs.

As you can see, there are multiple areas that you can delve into and center your blog around.  You just have to figure out what topic(s) interest you the most.  Once you have decided on a topic for your blog, you can pretty much start writing content.

Writing content is the part that some people choose to steer away from because they feel that it is too much work.  But is that really true?  Not necessarily.  You are in control of how much and when you write posts on your blog.  Some bloggers write a post a week, 3 times a week, everyday, or just whenever they feel the urge to do so.  If you know your subject well, you can write a post in just a few minutes.  But if you are a person who likes to write a lot and enjoys this process, you may tend to write more.  It just depends upon you.  A lot of bloggers write part time and you could certainly do so as well.  Starting out, you may tend to write more just to build up content on your blog but after that has been done, you can scale back on your writing and set a weekly schedule of when you want to publish and create posts online.

Of course, you may be wondering how much will I earn if I start my own blog and how does a blog make money anyway?  The answer is through advertisers and affiliate companies.  The amount of money that you will earn depends upon how much traffic you get to your blog.  It is hard to put an exact number on how much you will earn because that number will continue to fluctuate depending upon your presence online.  For some bloggers, their earnings continue to increase.  For others, it may stay around the same ballpark or decrease a little if traffic slows down.  The key to earning money is simple.  Create quality content on a regular basis to keep your visitors interested and coming back for more.

So, are you ready to start your own blog?  If you do, you will be embarking on a wonderful experience in your work at home journey.  You may even decide that blogging is for you and make a career out of it.  Blogger, Go Daddy and Wordpress are popular sites that people use to set up their own blog or website.

If you are wondering how long it will take you to start earning money from your blog, please read this post that I wrote here where I explain how this works and my own experience.

Would you like to work from home and have the freedom and flexibility to set your own schedule?  If this has been one of the things that has been holding you back from being able to work from home, Great Virtual Works may be the solution to your problem.  This is a legitimate company that is actively looking for people to work from home receiving and placing calls from Great Virtual Works customers requesting products or services from their clients.  They provide support via phone, email and various chat channels.  These services are contracted to IBOs or Independent Business Owners that support their clients via their home office throughout the United States.

As an independent business owner, you can decide how much you want to work, when you want to work and have more control over your revenue potential.  This is idea for stay at home moms, dads, those who work outside the home, people who need extra money, those who want to work part time, students and others looking for flexibility in a work from home job.  In order to qualify there is an admission process that you will need to complete before you are able to access and work for any clients.  Here are some those steps listed below.

  • Take an online skills/voice assessment.
  • Complete a background check.

  • Have a home office with a computer that has Internet access.
  •  Apply to enroll in client specific certification.  This certification program is currently free to everyone!
  • Complete and pass the certification and you will be able to start earning money from home.

The certification program will equip you to be fully trained so that you can successfully receive and make calls from your home office.  The application process takes anywhere from 2-5 days to complete.  Here are some other details that you need to know about working as an IBO for Great Virtual Works.

  • Must commit to work at least 10-15 hours per week.
